The 40° edition of Sigep gave us great satisfaction also with regards to foreign markets, towards which we aim to extend our horizons.
A showcase of new trends, a meeting place for important international professionals, a concentration of technological innovation at the service of the creativity and quality of the Made in Italy sweet foods sector, SIGEP again this year had more than 200,000 visitors overall, of which 32,848 foreign buyers coming from 185 countries: Germany and Spain were the main countries of origin, followed by France, Poland and the United Kingdom. The participation of large markets such as the United States, the Russian Federation and China was also significant, confirming the event as a world business platform for the five main supply chains (Ice Cream, Pastries, Bread, Coffee and Chocolate), increasingly represented and integrated between them.
